Touching upon the trilateral meeting of spiritual leaders in Moscow, Charpentier noted that the message of spiritual leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan is very important, which is that the Karabakh problem is not a religious conflict. According to him, it is important that spiritual leaders emphasized this and stressed the importance of settling the conflict through negotiations, rather than weapons. Referring to the observation that there is an impression that Russia is trying to seize the initiative in the conflict settlement, Charpentier  noted that the OSCE Minsk Group's work style differs from other formats.  "Despite the fact that the countries of the mediators have disagreements on a number of issues, the sides have no contradictions on the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement. 

ArmInfo. After Armenia signs a framework agreement with the European Union, and for all preconditions, it will become the only state that, as a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, has signed an agreement on cooperation with the EU. French Ambassador to Yerevan Jean-Francois Charpentier told journalists in Yerevan on September 12, referring to the statement of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan regarding the fact that the European Union announced in 2013 that it is impossible to continue the interaction after Yerevan announced its intention to join the EEU. But I want to emphasize one thing, on the day when the Armenia-EU framework agreement is signed, and I believe that there are all prerequisites for this, the RA will become the only state that, being a member of the EEA, signed an agreement on cooperation with the EU. And the new Armenia-EU agreement is ambitious enough and opens wide opportunities for Yerevan, "the diplomat said.

The program, with a duration of three years, aims to  provide medical care to people suffering from schizophrenia and deep  depression, is designed to significantly reduce the level of these  diseases. The program is based on the principles of public-private  partnership. According to Jean-Francois Charpentier, the Ambassador  of France to Armenia, who was present at the launch of the program,  noted that the Armenian-French partnership in the field of healthcare  is one of the priorities. He informed that this year, with the  assistance of Business France and the Ministry of Health of Armenia,  the days of France will be held in Armenia, where further issues of  cooperation in this sphere will be discussed and new horizons for  cooperation will open.

Turkish Economy policy investigation fund  also came up as one of the organizers.

The level of French possession  in Armenia decreased after gaining independence, French  Ambassador to Armenia Jean-Francois Charpentier stated during the press-conference in Yerevan on March 14.  According to him Armenian   friends speak French, and the level of possession of the language  generates respect. " However, I am worried not about the quality of  language possession but about the quantity-today the number of French  learners is sensibly less  than it was 20 years ago. It is  conditioned with the fact that in general educative schools French  turned to second plan after Armenia gained independence. And this is  problem. Though we can state that  during recent 4 years  in Yerevan  we  had changes in this respect," the Diplomat said. He emphasized at  that France today aims to recover lost positions and to take its  niche again. According to the Diplomat French University brings  serious assistance in spreading French in Armenia.
